Even though everything in her garden is not in full bloom, she finds contentment in the moment. She's present. The Queen is a nurturing and caring individual who has built a life of stability and prosperity through her hard work and dedication. Her approach to life is grounded, and she knows how to use her resources wisely. She is able to balance her material needs with her emotional needs, and she finds joy in creating a comfortable and welcoming home for herself and her loved ones.

Are you content with your life just as it is right now?
Do you tell yourself, "I'll be happy once I finally achieve X, or get Y.”? Do you race through time not acknowledging even small achievements you make? Are you sometimes a cruel task master to yourself? (You don't get to enjoy anything until you finish this!)
In the foreground of the card (in the right- hand corner) is the Queen's pet rabbit. Rabbits are symbols of fertility (hence the Easter Bunny and the budding of Spring). They were also believed to bring good luck. (Remember those ghastly carnival rabbit’s feet in the 1980's?)
An old teacher of mine used to say, "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." If you are preparing the way for future success, all you need to do is look out for the opportunity, then move toward it as swiftly as the rabbit when it arises. Rabbits are also symbolic of nervous energy. This reminds us that we must still act toward our dreams even if we are afraid.
The Queen of Pentacles reminds you to ground yourself in the abundance of the present.
Acknowledge the warmth of your home, the good meal you are eating, your time with loved ones, the beauty of the raindrops misting outside. Look at life with content eyes. Look at all this beauty!
